WINTHROP, Mass.—Fifty Anna Maria College student-athletes were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh on Tuesday morning.

The men's cross country team competed at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet on Saturday morning at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Conn. Junior Casey Quirk led the men with a time of 21:08.4 in the five kilometer race.

PAXTON, Mass.—The men’s and women’s cross country teams competed on home soil at the annual Worcester City Invitational on Saturday morning at Moore State Park. Junior Maureen Moore (Newbury, Mass.) led the women with a time of 23:04 in the five kilometer race, while Casey Quirk paced the men with a time of 34:52 in eight kilometers.

DARTMOUTH, Mass.—The Anna Maria College cross country teams competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday morning. The men’s team completed the 8-kilometer race at an average pace of 40:56, while the women’s team averaged a time of 27:49 in the 5-kilometer race.
