Bio

Jake Pesarcik enters his fifth year at the helm of the Anna Maria College men's soccer team going into the 2022 season. 

Pesarcik was named head coach of the AMCATS in March of 2018.

"I have the ambition to build-up and maintain the men's soccer program to a respectable standard along with having a team of players who are passionate, well-rounded, and hard-working who all have a strong desire to achieve success both on and off the field. The men's soccer program here at Anna Maria College has overall great potential and promise to make strides in the proper direction moving forward.” said Pesarcik.

He served as a graduate assistant coach at Anna Maria in 2017.

Pesarcik is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he played his youth soccer career at Lehigh Valley United. Pesarcik attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania (NCAA Division II) and was a four-year goalkeeper for the men's soccer team.

In making the transition into coaching, he is thoroughly invested in developing his knowledge as a coach and his commitment to career-long learning. He has obtained his United Soccer Coaches (USC) Premier Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, National Diploma and his Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma. Pesarcik has also obtained his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) D and C License.

Throughout the years, Pesarcik has been employed and has volunteered at numerous youth soccer clubs, high schools, camps/clinics and college/universities across the United States.

Pesarcik received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in May of 2017 from Bloomsburg. In May of 2018, he graduated from Anna Maria College with a Master's Degree in Social Work (completed within the one-year - Advanced Standing Program).

In addition to coaching, he serves as the administrative assistant for the Anna Maria College Social Work Programs.
