Men's Soccer Falls to GNAC New Comer Colby-Sawyer

Paxton, Mass: Men's soccer falls short in GNAC opener against Colby –Sawyer 2-0 this evening on the road in New London, N.H.

The Chargers (1-3, 1-0 GNAC) finished the game outshooting the AMCATS seventeen to seven with seven on net; of those two found their mark. The first came in the 51st minute off the foot of senior midfielder Cody Kostrzebski with the help of Tim Driscoll who was awarded the assist. The second goal came in the 74th minute on a put back by senior midfielder Noah Camelo, with Mason Galbato getting the assist.

The AMCAT (1-3, 0-1) offense was led by Nick Lawrence (Attleboro, MA) who had two shot on the day and both were on target. Christian Peguri (Litchfield, NH) also put together a two shot night for Anna Maria. AMCAT goalie sophomore Jeffre Donahue (Rockland, MA) had himself a five save night to hold the Chargers only to two.

The men's soccer team has almost a week of rest before they go on the road again Friday the 14th where they will play another GNAC foe in Norwich University at 5:30 PM.
