Anna Maria College begins its first annual Rugby recruiting season with the founding of Women's and Men's club rugby.  Coming in the Spring of 2020, Anna Maria College will be debuting its new club-level Men's and Women's Sevens team Rugby. Additional planning for growth of the programs is underway for men's and women's Rugby fifteens in 2021.   

With the addition of a new sport Anna Maria College announced that Patrick Kennedy will serve as the head coach. Coach Kennedy is a Worcester native that played Rugby at Boston University and has been actively involved in the Rugby community as a coach and player with the Worcester Rugby Football club (WRFC).  Coach's work has created many positive changes in the Worcester area community, by helping Worcester area youth with guidance and life skills, while growing the beautiful sport of rugby in Central Massachusetts. Anna Maria welcomes Patrick and his family as we begin this recruiting season and welcome "the Game Played in Heaven" by supporters and players alike.
