Bio

Coach Alex Zito started playing lacrosse when he was 4 years old and continued through his collegiate career. Coach Zito went through RHAM High School where he played before moving on to Mount Ida College.

 Coach played all four years that he spent at Mount Ida as a faceoff specialist where he played in 69 games and tallied 381 ground balls for a program best, and second all-time in the GNAC. His overall faceoff percentage was 55% (729-1303), which was good enough for most faceoff wins in program history.

 During his time at Mount Ida Coach Zito’s team record was 42-and-28. He made the playoffs all four years he attended school, and made it to the GNAC Championship twice.

 Academically Alex finished with a 3.7 GPA, making the Dean’s List all four years. Coach was also named all-conference for his performance in the 2015 season.
