Men’s Lacrosse Season Ended by Norwich in GNAC Quarterfinals

- NORTHFIELD, VT: The Anna Maria men's lacrosse team fell to Norwich University this evening in the GNAC quarterfinals by a score of 17-3.  

 THE BASICS:

- Date: 4/30/2021

- Score: Norwich 17, Anna Maria 3

- Records: Norwich (8-3), Anna Maria (1-8)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The AMCATS got on the board first with an Eric Glover (Baldwinville, MA) goal with 10:39 remaining in the first. Glover would then tie up the score with Norwich 2-2 to end the first quarter.

-  Anna Maria's last goal would come at the beginning of the second quarter on an unassisted score by Nick Massaro (West Haven, CT).

-  After that, the Cadets would go on to score 15 unanswered goals to get the final of 17-3.


INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Griffin Moore (Worcester, MA) saw 34 shots in net for the AMCATS and was able to save 17 of them in the loss.

-  Nick Kandra saw 17 shots in net for the Cadets saving 14. Kandra improves to 8-1 in net for Norwich.

- Anna Maria concludes their season and begins preparing for the 2021-2022 season.
