PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Lacrosse team fell to Eastern Connecticut State this evening 8-2 in non-conference action in Mansfield CT.
Records: ECS 5-7, AMC 5-10.
The Warriors held a 2-0 lead going into the third quarter when Matthew Rougeot took over to put up six points on three goals and three assists. He was seconded by Wes Thompson who was able to beat the tender twice in the contest.
The AMCATS were only able to put up two in today's game, one being a repeat offender in Brandon Pavoni (Granby, Mass.) and Kory Fortier (Oxford, Mass.) who has been finding his groove as of late. The big story for the 'CATS today was their goalie play out of Senior Paul Schwarz (Staten Island, NY) who suffers the loss but put in a great effort in net saving twenty-two shots with only allowing the eight goals.
