Glover Scores Five in Men's Lacrosse Victory over Thomas

PAXTON, Mass:  The Anna Maria Men's Lacrosse team took down Thomas this afternoon in non-conference action 15-4 in Waterville Maine.

 

Records: Thomas 1-8, AMC 5-9.

 

Daniel MacWhinnie led the Terriers in total points with three after his one goal and two assists. Jack Gallagher, Johnathan Wilcox, and Samuel Haver all scored one goal each to finish up the scoring for Thomas.

 

The AMCATS Eric Glover (Baldwinville, Mass.) tallied six total points in the game with five goals and one assists. Three more goals were added on from Brandon Pavoni (Granby, Mass.) and even one more assist. Kory Fortier (Oxford, Mass.) and Zion Mercado (Limerick, ME) both found the back of the net two more time each for the 'CATS.

 

Goalies

 

Paul Schwarz (Staten Island, NY) got the win bringing him to a 3-7 on the season after just one quarter of action. In that one quarter he made three saves and allowed just one goal.

 

Damon Westhaver got the loss (1-8) after a sixteen save effort with fifteen goals allowed.

The AMCATS will be back in action Tuesday against Eastern Connecticut State, with action beginning at 5:00 PM.
