Men's Lacrosse Stumbles to Red Dragons

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Lacrosse Team was defeated by Oneonta in non-conference action last night 14-2 in New York.

 

Records: Oneonta 5-5, Anna Maria 3-5

 

The red Dragons were led by Stephen Panno who tallied four goals in the contest with two assists on fifteen shots. Thomas McRae and Dean Cannon rounded up the top scorers as they both found the back of the net twice in the game, with McRae also getting credited with an assist.

 

For the AMCATS, James Wieliczko (Holderness, NH) recorded his first goal this season. Kory Fortier (Oxford, Mass.) put in his second goal of the season to round up the scoring for Anna Maria.

 

Goalies

 

Zachary Flynn got the win in net for the Dragons he is now 5-5 on the season. He allowed one goal and had two saves.

 

Paul Schwarz (Staten Island, NY) was tagged with the loss and will fall to 1-3 on the season. He allowed eleven goals on had fourteen saves.
