Men's Hockey Breaks Double Digits with Win over Bryn Athyn

AUBURN, MASS: The Anna Maria Men's Hockey team took down Bryn Athyn this evening at Horgan Arena, 4-1.

 THE BASICS:

- Date: 1/25/2020

Score: Anna Maria 4, Bryn Athyn 1

Records: Bryn Athyn (8-8-3), Anna Maria (10-5-4)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Sam Cyr-Ledoux (Montreal, QC) started the scoring off for the AMCATS in the first period. He received a pass from Gavin Proeh (Highland Park, IL) out of the right corner to finish top shelf.

-  The second period consisted of only one score and that was from Nick Kukuris (Littleton, CO) who was found by Patrick Manning (Messena, NY) on a cut to the net to put it home.

-  Jonathan Fowler (Tewksbury, MA) found the back of the net to start off the third period. He took a one timer from the left side after gathering a wrap around pass from Kukuris.

- The Lions did finally answer back after pulling the goalie and going a man up. Dakota Ulmer was responsible for the score and taking away Julius Huset's (Oakdale, MN) shutout.

- The AMCATS would find the net one more time in the third. This time it came as an empty net man down opportunity with Cyr-Ledoux flicking the puck out of their zone to find its way into the net.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Ismael Ralsten saw 28 shots for the Lions saving 25 of them.

-  Huset had another 30 save game with 34 after facing 35 shots.
