PAWTUCKET, RI: The Anna Maria Men's Hockey team was defeated by Johnson & Wales this evening giving them just their second loss of the season.  

 THE BASICS:

- Date: 12/13/2019

Score: JWU 9, Anna Maria 1

Records: JWU (2-8), Anna Maria (6-2-3)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  JWU put up a three-spot in the first period, which was followed by a shorthanded goal from Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) to get the AMCATS on the board.

-  The score remained 3-1 in the Wildcats favor until they added on six more goals in the third period.

-  Eight total JWU skaters scored this evening with Kodi Legassie leading the way with two goals and one assist.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Mike Rockwell picked up his second win of the season on a 20 save day.

-  Julius Huset (Oakdale, MN) picked up his first loss of the year after allowing three goals on 16 shots faced. He did pick up another 13 saves to add to his team high 171.

-  Anna Maria accumulated 35 minutes in the penalty box, which led to a 3 for 4 night on the power play for JWU.
