Men's Hockey Held Scoreless by Manhattanville

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Hockey Team season comes to an end with a loss to Manhattanville College 7-0 this evening in non-conference action at the Horgan Arena.

 

The Valiants (10-7-3) had a big 3rd period where they put up four out of their seven goals. Manhattanville started the contest with two goals in the first followed by one in the second. Three of the seven came on the power play.

 

Both the Valiants and the AMCATS (4-16-4) had some penalty trouble as they both spent more than 20 minutes in the penalty box. Anna Maria had 27 minutes spent in the box on 8 infractions, while Manhattanville had 23 minutes on 6 infractions.

 

Niko Happo was the top performer in the contest as he totaled 4 points, with him scoring a goal and assisting on three others.

 

Tyler Feaver got the win in net for the Valiants as he improves to 4-5-3 on the season. He was able to shutout the AMCATS and accumulate 27 saves on the night.

 

For Anna Maria Julius Huset (Oakdale, MN) was in and tagged with the loss as he falls to 0-4 on the season. He completed the contest with 7 goals allowed and 32 saves for a save percentage of just over 82%.
