Men's Ice Hockey Falls to Wesleyan

 

PAXTON, Mass: 9-1 was the final for the Anna Maria Men's Hockey game this evening, as they were defeated by Wesleyan University in non-conference action at Horgan Arena.

 

Wesleyan will improve to 4-3-1 this season with the victory. The Cardinals had six players find the back of the net in the contest, with two scoring multiple goals. Walker Harris was able to put the puck home three times, while adding an assist to his stat line. Danny Sorabella was also able beat the AMCAT tender twice in the contest. Andy Espinoza also contributed in the game by dishing out four assists.

 

Anna Maria will fall to 4-8-3 on the season with the loss. The lone goal for the AMCATS was scored by Gavin Proeh (Highland Park, IL) with Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) and Kevin Kaufman (Medway, Mass.) being credited with the assists.

Matteo Esposito (W, 1-0), allowed 1 goal with 23 saves.

 

Brendan Boncore (Oakland, MI) (L, 2-4-1) allowed 5 goals with 35 saves.

 

Julius Huset (Oakdale, MN) allowed 4 goals with 10 saves.
