Perette Score Season High in Men's Basketball Loss

PAXTON, Mass: 71-85 was the final from Emmanuel College this evening as the Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team was defeated in GNAC action.

The Saints will improve to 8-2 in conference play and 17-8 overall. While the AMCATS drop to 3-7 in conference and 7-17 overall.

Emmanuel had three put up double digits, with Emmett Riddick leading the way with 27 points and three assists. Joe Tamburro had a big first half with 11 points of his 19, also adding three assists and two rebounds. Marcus Fox found a rhythm in the second half, adding 18 points to the home team, along with three rebounds and two assists.

Anna Maria's Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) finished with a game high 31 points a season high for the junior. He was followed by Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.) who completed a third straight Double-Double, with 15 points and ten rebounds. Senior Sidney Linage also tallied his second Double-Double on the season with an even 10 points and ten rebounds.

The AMCATS will finish their season this Saturday against Lasell College. This will be senior day for three graduating Anna Maria student-athletes, Sidney Limage, Bailey Braga, and Chris Contento. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 PM.
