PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team defeated Conference opponent Regis College 80-66 in the Fuller Center.
Regis (9-14, 4-5 GNAC) was able to keep the first half close with Marc Trinidad leading the way with 6points going into the locker room.
Ralph Grasso Jr. (Marlborough, Mass.) was the leading scorer going into halftime with 10 points for the AMCATS (7-15, 3-5 GNAC).
Anna Maria was able to get going in the second half with Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) taking over. Perette finished 9-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-5 from behind the arc to get him his 24 points. Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.) also took over in the second finishing with another Double-Double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. Sidney Limage (Randolph, Mass.) contributed heavily on the glass, as he gathered 14 rebounds a game high.
