Men's Basketball Bests Rivier

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team was able to defeat conference opponent Rivier University late this afternoon – in Nashua New Hampshire.

The Raiders (1-16, 0-6 GNAC) were able to keep the game close with Issaiah Chappell going off for 25 points in the contest. Nate Hale was also able to add 13 points on the board for Rivier.

The AMCATS (6-11, 2-2 GNAC) had all five starters in double digits this afternoon as they all contributed to the victory. Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) and Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.) tied for the team high in points as they both finished with 17. Senior Sidney Limage (Randolph, Mass.) finished with his first Double-Double of the year, ending with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Angel Perez (Miami, FL) and Kennedy Minix-Rogers (Smyrna, GA) also contributed, with Perez scoring 14 and Rogers ending with 10 points.
