Men's Basketball Has Big Second Half to Take Down Fredonia

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team was victorious this afternoon against non-conference opponent Fredonia 74-62 while playing in the consolation game in the Utica winter tournament.

 

 The Devils (0-9) had nine players score in the contest, while De'Quan Smith finished with the game high 21 points while coming off the bench.

 

The AMCATS (4-9) will open up the new year on a positive note after the win this afternoon. Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass) continues his double-double streak as he finished with 15 points and 19 rebounds. Angel Perez (Miami, FL) finished with a team high 19 points going 5-of-11 from the floor, with all coming from behind the 3-point line. Senior Sidney Limage (Randolph, Mass.) finished right behind Perez with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Junior Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) finished the contest scoring the fourth highest on the team with 14 points, to go along with his 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
