Perette Drops 17 in Men's Basketball Loss to Lynx

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team fell to Lesley University this evening in non-conference action 93-80.

The Lynx (1-8) had two of the top scorers of the contest in Joey Martin and Chase Howard. Martin led all scoring with 25 points, he was also able to pull down 9 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Howard was just two points behind with 23 for the night to go along with 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

The AMCATS (3-7) top three scorers were Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.), Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.), and Anthony Buckley (Haverhill, Mass.). Perette finished with a stat line of 17 points, 3 rebounds, and one steal. Rapoza finished with his third straight double-double with a 15-point, 13 rebound, and 2 steal night. Buckley contributed 13 points of his own, going 5-8 from the floor and 3-6 from behind the 3-point line.
