Men's Basketball Downs Becker by 22

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team defeated Becker College this afternoon in non-conference action 80-58 in the Fuller Center.

 

The Hawks (0-1) were led by senior point guard Kareem Davis who finished the contest with a game high 25 points. Davis was backed up by Dewayne Thomas and Antonio White Jr. who both finished with 11 points apiece. Thomas also contributes 4 steals and 4 blocks, with White adding 3 assists and 3 rebounds.

 

The AMCATS (1-1) finished with three in double digits this afternoon as the team shoots 54% from the field. Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) finished with 18 points for a second game in a row, along with being the team's highest scorer. Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.) was right behind him as he gets another double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Freshmen Anthony Buckely (Haverhill, Mass.) continues to shoot at a very high percentage as he finishes over 50% again from the floor accumulating 12 points, 2 assists, and 3 boards.
