Paxton, Mass. – For the second time this season, senior Anthony Click (Springfield, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week as announce by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Click averaged 17.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.0 steals for the AMCATS as they extended their conference winning streak to 14 games with road wins at Suffolk University and Rivier University. In 38 minutes at Suffolk the senior's stat sheet read and astounding: 17 points (6-for-13), 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 7 steals and 2 blocks. In a 60-57 win vs. Rivier, Click notched a game-high 18 points and 8 rebounds; he was a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe including the game winning basket with 1:51 remaining.

Click currently sits in fourth place on the all-time scoring list at AMC with 1652 points. This season he rapidly moved up the leaderboard and most recently passed Assistant Coach Luis Frias, who scored 1617 points in three years as an AMCAT. Next up to conquer will be Matthew Brennan (1665 pts.) and Michael Cagle (1785 pts.). John Patraitis is the men's basketball all-time leading scorer with 2,434 points.

Anna Maria returns to action on Tuesday night when they host Emmanuel College at 7:30pm in a GNAC contest. Senior day is slated for Saturday, February 15th when the AMCATS host Mt. Ida in the season finale for both teams.
