NFHCA ZAG Award Honors Nine AMCAT Field Hockey Players

GILBERT, AZ - Over 1,700 student-athletes representing 149 schools have been selected to the 2017 Zag Field Hockey / NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.

The Division III National Academic Squad program recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

Of those 1,700 student-athlete's selected to the 2017 Zag Field Hockey / National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad, nine AMCATS from the 2017 were named. Those women are, freshman midfielder Brittney Cherry, junior midfielder Sarah Coley, senior forward Nicole Denver, junior goalie Danielle Huston, junior midfielder/defender Kayla Magierowski, sophomore midfielder/forward Anne Melanson, sophomore midfielder/forward Taryn Rebelo, sophomore forward/midfielder Allyson Shaw, and senior goalie Bryanna Tobin. Tobin has received this honor all four years of her college career.
