NECC Field Hockey Player of the Week

Marybeth McClune, Anna Maria

Junior forward Marybeth McClune scored twice in a 1-1 week for the AMCATS. McClune scored in the 39th minute and then scored a weak side goal off a scramble in front of the net in the games final minute as the AMCATS defeated Elmira 2-0.

NECC Field Hockey Rookie of the Week

Marita Steinmetz, Anna Maria
(Fr, GK - Grafton, Mass.)
Steinmetz recorded her first collegiate shut-out in 2-0 win over Elmira College. In the win she made 9 saves, with several key saves down the stretch to preserve the win. Steinmetz also had 8 saves in a 3-1 loss to St. Joseph's (ME).
