Bio

Jake Petrarca enters his second season as the AMCAT Wide Receivers coach in 2015. He will also serve as the team’s video coordinator this season.

During the 2014 season, AMCAT wide receivers had 138 receptions totaling 1,765 yards and 10 touchdowns. The WR corps saw two of its members earn 2nd-Team All-ECFC honors paired with selections to the 2nd-Team All-Worcester All-Star Team as well.

Prior to 2014, Petrarca worked as wide receivers coach for West Warwick High School (R.I.) in 2013 and aided the team to a RIIL Division II State Championship title.

Petrarca was a four-year member of the Salve Regina University football team. As a two-year starter for the Seahawks, he was a part of the program’s first winning season in several years as well as its first postseason victory in over a decade with a win in the 2011 ECAC Northwest Bowl against Worcester State.

Petrarca earned his Bachelor’s degree from Salve Regina in secondary education and history in 2012 and he is currently pursuing a a Master's degree at Anna Maria.
