Five AMCATS named to ECFC All-Academic Team

MARSHFIELD, Mass – The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) announced its All-Academic team for the 2017 season this afternoon.

53 student-athletes were recognized with representatives from all eight ECFC institutions. Castleton University led the way with 13 honorees, followed closely by Husson University with 12.

To be eligible for the ECFC All-Academic team a student-athlete must have earned a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.3 or higher in the 2017 fall semester while being a sophomore in standing with two years of participation on the football team.

Anna Maria is represented by five student-athletes who met the criteria put forth by the conference. Being named to the All-Academic team for the second consecutive year are senior Trevor Brown (Gardner, Mass) senior Dominic DiSandro III (Cranston, R.I.) and junior Paul Robitaille (Johnston, R.I.). Named to the team for the first time are senior Camden Brown (Gardner, Mass) and junior Bryan Kiley (Maynard, Mass).
