Equestrian Competes at Roger Williams Show

BRISTOL, RI - This past weekend, the Anna Maria College equestrian team performed at the Roger Williams show on Saturday morning and recorded a 12th place finish. Check out below how the squad performed on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Katie Barnes (West Brookfield, MA) competed in the Class 2A Novice Hunter Seat walk-trot-canter event and notched a fifth-place finish. 
• Meanwhile, Jocelyn Trifiro (Templeton, MA) partook in two events (Class 4 Limit Hunter Seat over fences, and Class 3 Limit Hunter Seat on the flat) where she recorded a fifth and sixth-place finish respectively. 
• Finally, Gina Houghton (Paxton, MA) also competed in the on the Class 3 Limit Hunter Seat on the flat event and took home a fifth-place finish for the AMCATS.

WHAT'S NEXT

Anna Maria travels to the University of Rhode Island on Saturday, November 9 for an 8 AM at the Mystic Valley Hunt Club in Glades Ferry, CT.
