PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Baseball team dropped another pair of games to conference opponent Suffolk University 5-0 and 11-1 in East Boston.

 

Records: Suffolk 17-9-1, 9-0 GNAC. AMC 8-20, 1-8 GNAC.

 

Game One

 

It was a shared effort for the Rams in game one as seven out of the nine in the lineup got a hit. The big story in game one was that the AMCATS were no hit by Worth Walrod. He made it through all seven innings with no hits, only three walks, and ten strikeouts.

 

Adam Twitchell (Shrewsbury, Mass.) pitched six innings for Anna Maria allowing only eight hits and four earned runs. He will suffer the loss and drop to 0-4 on the season.

 

Game Two

 

Connor Troio led Suffolk in game two with a perfect performance at the plate of 3-for-3 with a whopping five RBI's and two runs scored. Rich Giandrea also was perfect at 3-for-3 as he tallied two RBI's of his own while scoring twice.

 

Kosta Drosidis (Holden, Mass.) hit in the only AMCAT run of the day on his one hit out of three at bats. Jackson Dobek (Natick, Mass.) batted 1.000 in game two going 3-for-3.

 

Pitching

 

Kevin Sinatra got the win and is now 4-1 after pitching seven innings with seven hits given up and only one earned run.

 

Nick Genatossio (Sutton, Mass.) will suffer the loss dropping him to 0-3 on the season. He made it through and inning and two thirds giving up four hits and five earned runs.
