Men's Hockey Set to Start on January 29th

PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria Men's Ice Hockey program looks to get its third season underway, with their first home contest of the 2020-2021 season coming against Becker College on January 29th at 5:40 pm.

This season will consist of 15 games played between schools that have formed a pact creating strict guidelines to ensure the student-athletes safety before, during, and after competition. They will exclusively play each other in a shortened season due to COVID-19. Some of the pacts institutions are Babson College, Plymouth State, Castleton University, Becker College, and others.

The AMCATS schedule will consist of eight home games with seven on the road. Notable games will be against Babson College and second-year team Albertus Magnus. Anna Maria will take on Babson for the first time in program history this season, with matchups coming on February 5th and 6th, and again on the 26th and 27th. Their games against Albertus Magnus are scheduled on the 12th and 13th of March. Last season the two newer programs met twice, with the AMCATS coming out with a 1-0-1 record against the Falcons.

The 'CATs will round out their schedule with games against New England College (2), Plymouth State (4), and Castleton (1).
