Six AMCATS Make ECFC All-Academic Team, Thirty-Two Making Honor Roll

PAXTON, MA: The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) announced its academic awards for the fall of 2020 this afternoon. The conference bestows two academic honors annually: the ECFC All-Academic team and the ECFC Academic Honor Roll. Between the two honors, 38 total student-athletes made the list. Six AMCATS were awarded All-Academic Honors, while 32 others made the Honor Roll. 

To be eligible for the ECFC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.3 or higher following the 2020 fall semester. Additionally, all honorees must be at least a sophomore in standing with a minimum of two years of participation on the football team. All seven ECFC institutions had honorees named to the All-Academic Team, with 71 student-athletes in total recognized.

The ECFC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes that achieved a 3.0 cumulative or fall semester-based G.P.A. or higher. Further, freshman and first-year transfer student-athletes are eligible for the recognition. In total, 165 student-athletes from all seven member institutions earned Academic Honor Roll recognition.
