Brown Earns Spot On GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team

PAXTON, MA - Karlyn Brown (Belmont, NH) earned a spot on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Sportsmanship Team as announced by the conference office.

Brown played a major part in the AMCATS defense all year after she earned a start in all 18 matches this season. Head women's soccer coach Lindsey Garvey also had high praise for her senior defender "Karlyn is a two-year co-captain and consistently exemplifies what it means to be dedicated student-athlete," said Coach Garvey. "Her hard work, resilience, and respect for the game have helped to set the tone for our younger student-athletes. She is a leader by nature and has represented Anna Maria for the last four years proudly. This award is very well-deserved by number 17."
