2018-19 GNAC All-Academic Team
WINTHROP, Mass. – With a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher, a total of 1,030 student-athletes have been named to the 2018-19 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
In order to be eligible for the league's academic all-conference squad, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have reached second-year academic status. The gross total of 1,030 is a +22 increase from the 2017-18 Academic All-Conference Team.
Saint Joseph’s College of Maine paced the conference’s selections with 115, followed by Johnson & Wales University (RI) with 110. Regis College (104) and Lasell College (101) also reached triple digits among the selections, while single-gender Simmons University placed an impressive 89 on this year’s team.
The AMCATS had a total of 50 student-athletes make it onto the All-Academic team this past year. Leading the way was Men’s Lacrosse with 13, followed by baseball with 7 athletes. For the complete list of Anna Maria selections, please see below.
