PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria Student-Athlete Spotlight is a biweekly series that will highlight and promote AMC's student-athletes on and off the playing field. This additions student-athlete is Gabrielle Ohanesian, she is a Sophmore on the Women's Hockey team here at Anna Maria College. Gabi is a goaltender for the AMCATS and is a Health Science major.
While playing for AMC Gabi is already in the record books as the top tender with her best game coming in 2019 against JWU when she compiled 66 saves. In her first year, Ohanesian put together a 92% save percentage on 505 shots faced with 464 saves. So far this season Gabi has kept her 90% save percentage after facing 100 shots and saving 90.

I really enjoyed my Human Anatomy class.
WHAT IS YOUR CAREER ASPIRATIONS?
I would really like to be a Cardiovascular Surgeon.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE?
I would say I'm a pretty big fan of A Simple Favor.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PRE-GAME MEAL?
I've never really been big into eating before a game.
FAVORITE LATE NIGHT SNACK?
I would definitely say Cuties are my favorite.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ATHLETIC MOMENT?
My favorite athletic moment would definitely be when I went to Nationals.
WHO IS YOUR MOST RESPECTED PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE?
Hilary Knight would be my most respected Professional Athlete.
