PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria Student-Athlete Spotlight is a biweekly series that will highlight and promote AMC's student-athletes on and off the playing field. This week’s student-athlete is Sam Cyr-Ladoux. Cyr-Ladoux is a Sophmore on the Men's Hockey team here at Anna Maria College, majoring in business with a minor in psychology.  

While at Anna Maria Sam has scored 5 goals with 11 assists, totaling 16 points. In his second season, he has almost scored as many goals as his first just 5 games into the new season. This season so far Cyr-Ladoux has been in the middle of it all, whether it is scoring, assisting, or winning the faceoffs for the AMCATS. 

We got to know Sam more in depth after asking him a few questions: 

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS SO FAR HERE AT ANNA MARIA? 

I really enjoyed my psychology class. 

WHAT IS YOUR CAREER ASPIRATIONS? 

It is to be a Finacial Advisor. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE? 

 It would have to be Pulp Fiction. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PRE-GAME MEAL? 

Pasta would probably be my top choice. 

FAVORITE LATE NIGHT SNACK?

I would have to say tacos are. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ATHLETIC MOMENT? 

There isn't one specifically, I would just say that anytime that we win is my favorite moment.

 WHO IS YOUR MOST RESPECTED PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE? 

I would say Sidney Crosby tops my list.
