Marquis Roderique, Football

PAXTON, MA- After a week where he accumulated 50% of the offensive total yardage for the AMCAT football team Marquis Roderique is the next Athlete Spotlight. 

Roderique has done most of his damage as a wideout, where he has 31 receptions for 351 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. He averages 50 yards a game and 11.3 yards per catch, with a long of 83 yards. 

Lately, Marquis has been working out of the backfield with 27 carries for 152 yards. He is averaging 5.6 yards per carry and has a long of 46 yards on the season.   

Roderique's best all around game came against Dean where he totaled 244 all-purpose yards, with 77 coming out of the backfield, 68 receiving yards, and 99 return yards. He also had a 280 yard game against Nichols with 119 receiving yard, 161 return yards, and a touchdown.
